ECOBARGE and RISE Research Institutes of Sweden have entered into a Letter of Intent (LOI) concerning development, testing, verification, sustainability evaluation, pilot projects, and demonstration activities linked to ECOBARGE’s modular biomass solutions.
The dialogue will focus on how research, innovation, and practical implementation can contribute to scalable and climate-positive solutions for agriculture, biomass utilization, and circular resource management.
As Sweden’s research institute and innovation partner, RISE brings extensive expertise in research, testing, verification, and sustainable industrial development. Together, we intend to explore opportunities for joint initiatives and future public funding applications connected to relevant technology and application areas.
For ECOBARGE, collaboration between industry, research, and end users is an important part of accelerating the transition toward more resilient and circular systems — where waste and residue streams can become valuable local resources.
